Day #6 – Get You In Shape Fitness Boot Camp Testimonial – Daily diary from the trials, success’s, struggles, victories, and results from a Boot Camp Participant.

Day # 6 (boot camp)  Day #3 (herbal cleanse)

 

Hooray it’s Saturday.  I am posting this journal a little earlier today it’s about 3:30PM.

 

I got to sleep in a little today.  :o )  Still a tiny but sore today.   I am already feeling stronger today.  First, thing I did today was weigh myself (even though I know you probably shouldn’t every day).  I was pleasantly surprised I lost another 1.6 pounds for a total of 2.6 since Monday.  (Beginning weight 168, today 165.4, I can’t believe I am posting that)  But even stranger, when I was on my way to my guitar lesson, I noticed my jeans were looser.  Mind you, I lost 45 pounds over 2 years ago. Sadly, I gained 30 pounds back this past Holiday season.  I have been trying to get the weight back off since the first of the year, but the scale didn’t budge.  I finally broke down and bought 3 pairs of jeans in a size 10 and I refused to buy more than that.  I have a closet full of size 6’s and I want to get back into them instead of buying a closet of 10’s (I got rid of my 10’s and 12’s when I lost the weight the first time).  UGH!  OK, so back to my story, so this morning I noticed my jeans were looser.  Well, when I got home from my guitar lesson I knew I wanted to do the cardio and Core workouts from the Getyouinshape DVD.  Well, I went to change into workout clothes and I pulled those size 10 jeans off without unbuttoning them.  WOW.  One week, that’s a BIG difference.  Size 6’s here I come.  :o )  NOW I AM CONVINCED THIS PROGRAM WORKS!!!

 

I did the cardio and Core section from Brad’s DVD.  I like the DVD almost as much as the class.  It has some different exercises than we have done in class.  I was sweating!!!  I also watched the nutrition and exercise section.  There are some good tips in there.  As I am typing this I am eating my after workout snack!

 

I have already had 64oz of water today.  My eating has been good.  I think this is how my food breaks down so far 3 servings of lean protein, 2.5 servings of fiber, 1 serving of cheese, 2 servings of fruits and veggies (I had eaten 4 times so far).  I need to work on finding more convenient food!!!  I am going to try and add meal replacement shakes I think.  I did have my third fiber drink this morning for my cleanse.  This will be my last one until day 8 through 10. 

 

Food –

Fiber Drink

 1 – 4 lean turkey slices

2 – 6 wheat crackers, 6 cubes cheddar cheese, 1 slice lean ham

3 -  2 oz grilled chicken breast, ½ wheat tortilla, shredded lettuce, couple sprinkles cheese

4 – 1 apple and 6 slices lean turkey

 

I just feel good today.  It amazes me the difference exercise makes on my attitude!!  This was one major reason I started this program.  I knew it would make me feel better and be happier.  So far so good.  I can’t believe the difference in me already.  They are small things but I can’t wait because I can see ahead to what a difference the next 3 weeks will make.
